Why do you think we should burden our children & grand children with our debt?

We, yes we, caused this problem. So why don't we just own up and pay it down, so our kids, and grandkids don't have to. We can make the cuts, and yes let them tax cuts expire, for everyone. That way we won't burden the next generation with our debt.
