Stopping barking dogs?

Any ideas on how to stop my outside barking dog? We've tried the shock collar which I hated and will never do again though it did work. We've tried the radiant noise that you put out and only dogs can hear it and it makes them not want to bark. We took her to Man's Best Friend for 3 weeks of training but nothing has worked...
