Lost my virginity last night...?

so i had for the first time last night with my boyfriend and i'm only 16 and i really didn't find it too pleasurable. it just mostly hurt. my boyfriend thought it was good though...is this normal for my first time to be like this? i knew it would hurt but i thought i would like it a little bit more
