Is this a good story plot?

Names are too distracting, make most simple with regular spelling, unless it's a Sci Fi or Fantasy world. Don't use the same beginning letter for main character's names. Write yourself a plot letter asking the "Why?" and "What's next?" questions, i.e Why this protagonist? Why don't they just go to the police?, etc... If at any point you stump yourself plug the plot hole or start with a new idea.
