Public transportation, might it be the answer for?

Public transportation here is terrible. I work 35 minutes on a good day from my job and there isn't public transportation from my area to the area I work. I put $20 dollars a week in my gas tank for to and from work and if I could take the bus one way, it would cost me $1 each way if I only had to take one bus. But that wouldn't happen either. I would have to keep switching buses and it would be more time consuming and just as costly. It just doesn't work here unless to work downtown and can take one bus to and from so you don't have to pay for parking.
