WWF No Mercy ROM has same glitch as cartridge, help?

I've been looking for a ROM for the Project 64 emulator, but for some reason, it has the game data deletion glitch as the cartridge that was replaced sometime in the past. I've been looking for 1 ROM that won't erase my data, but I haven't had any luck. Help?
