Why do you girls pick the worst guys?

I know this has been asked a million times, but why do they? I'm a smart attractive 18 year old guy. I'm funny, very intelligent, kind, attractive, yet I have the worst luck with girls. I'm finishing my university coarses in highschool and I'm getting a scholarship, I also got 260 volunteer hours because I like helping others. I shower twice a day, work out at the gym, read, eat and drink healthy. I'm somewhat confident, but not y. I have visible abs, ok muscle. From what I hear, I should be surrounded by girls. I've actually only been with one girl, (ually, by choice. I've had other girlfriends) Now I see a lot of stupid, dirty, unattractive guys get so many girls. My brother who is an idiot, unemployed, stays home all day, gets all the cutest girls. I don't understand why I only attract the most unappealing girls ever. Unappealing as in uneducated unhealthy and overweight. (I'm not shallow, I just can't date overweight girls because I used to be overweight and ever since I lost my fat I found obeice people repulsing) If someone's born in a negative way, then I don't care cause there's nothing they can do about it, but I only see positives in strong people who can care about themselves. I just need someone to elaborate. Don't say, "I like smart guys and you sound great." I've heard it all my life. I need an honest answer. Girls I need actual facts and actual oppinions. This is the internet, no one knows who you are. Guys, I could use some good answers too. What are some of your experiences and do you understand what I'm saying? Also, if any girls or guys here know what I might be doing wrong, please tell me what girls look for. I dress good and am very positive. I don't know what's wrong. I'm sad and pissed as it is, no negative comments please.
