How to tell if a girl likes you?

i moved to a new school and have been there for 2 months now and i have a girl friend at my new school and our relationship isn't going the best and there's this girl Kelsey and she knows that my relationship isn't going the best. but i cant tell if she likes me but she tries talking to me and touches my hair a lot and says its soft and once she wrote i heart Kelsey on my hand and another time she typed Kelsey freaking loves Cody the most ;) in my phone but i cant tell if she likes me or if she just loves me as a friend?
